Psychotherapist & Life Coach
Pronouns: She/Her
I’m a big believer in dreams. To dream is to live.
My parents and grandparents came to the United States from opposite sides of the world, dreaming of possibilities for better work, better opportunities, and a better life. Their bold pursuit to risk it all in order to radically change their lives and that of future generations (me!) inspired me to be an action-focused, insight driven therapist.
Growing up in a multicultural, multiracial, and trilingual household, I was inherently curious about how people are shaped by their identities and how they navigate different spaces in the world. I developed a deep appreciation for the idea that there is no “right” way to do anything, just many ways. I bring this perspective to my work as a healer and coach - looking beyond stereotype or preconceived notions that limit the possibilities we can see for ourselves in our search for purpose and meaning.
Education & Training:
I earned a BA in psychology from Columbia University and an MSW from Hunter College. I have worked at middle and high schools providing school counseling, FEGS day treatment center with clients diagnosed with chronic mental illness, and Mount Sinai hospital with medically and psychologically complex patients with chronic illnesses. I received specialized post graduate training in couples and family therapy at the Ackerman Institute for the Family. I’m also trained in EMDR therapy and am a certified professional life coach.
